We take your privacy seriously. We collect only what we need to run the Service, we do not sell your data, and we give you control over your information.

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build behavioral profiles for sale. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
When you use the photo scan feature, your image is compressed on your device and sent to Anthropic's API solely for ingredient identification. We do not store your photos. The image is processed and discarded — only the list of identified ingredients is saved to your account.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain records (e.g. payment records for tax purposes, retained for 7 years per IRS requirements).

MealWheelIQ uses browser localStorage to store your authentication token and app preferences (theme, onboarding status). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking tools.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
